Surekha Vani Is Getting Fewer Offers, Says Daughter Supritha

Surpritha, daughter of actress Surekha Vani, has been making her presence felt through films, television shows and digital content. In a recent interview, she opened up about her mother’s career and their family’s financial situation. Clarifying reports that Surekha Vani had stopped acting, Supritha said her mother has not quit films but is simply not receiving enough offers. She attributed the decline in opportunities partly to the arrival of new artistes and said several actors from the older generation are facing a similar situation.

Supritha also dismissed the perception that their family is financially settled. She revealed that they currently live in a rented house and had previously purchased a home through an EMI, but later sold it to clear the loan. Their cars, too, were purchased through EMIs, she said, adding that they do not have enough money to make large one-time payments. Supritha said she gives her earnings to her mother and admitted that she is not very good at managing finances. She expressed her wish to buy a house in Hyderabad for her mother, hoping to at least pay the advance and secure one this year.
