Telugu Film in Suriya’s Favourite List

Tamil star Suriya is gearing up for the release of 'Viswanath & Sons', directed by Venky Atluri and starring Mamitha Baiju as the female lead. The film, produced by Sithara Entertainments with music by G.V. Prakash Kumar, is scheduled to hit theatres on August 14. During a recent interview, Suriya shared the names of his five all time favourite films.

Suriya revealed that his favourite movies are Sethu, Eega, Lagaan, Kaakha Kaakha, and Dhurandhar. Interestingly, only two of them are Tamil films, while the others belong to different languages. He said he is deeply drawn to films with strong storytelling, fresh narratives, and powerful emotions. His list has now gone viral on social media, especially because it includes the Telugu blockbuster Eega.
