Theatre Laid the Foundation for My Acting Career: Vijay Deverakonda

Tollywood star Vijay Deverakonda has opened up about his acting journey and the experiences that shaped his career. The actor revealed that theatre played a crucial role in nurturing his passion for acting and helping him develop as a performer. Reflecting on his early days, Vijay said he never had the luxury of choosing projects and was eager to seize every opportunity that came his way. According to him, theatre provided the perfect platform to improve his skills and showcase his talent.

Vijay further stated that theatre helped him break personal barriers and gave him the freedom to express himself as an artist. He credited the stage for shaping him both as an actor and as an individual. On the professional front, Vijay is currently busy with several exciting projects, including the period drama Ranabali alongside his wife Rashmika Mandanna. The film marks their third collaboration after Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade. He is also working on Rowdy Janardhan and another project tentatively titled VD x Shauryuv.
