Tollywood actor Vijay Deverakonda has reportedly said that he will not support ticket price hikes for his upcoming films, stressing that cinema should remain affordable for ordinary audiences. In a recent interview, he reportedly stated that if a film’s budget rises significantly, he would be willing to discuss reducing his remuneration with the producer rather than placing an additional financial burden on moviegoers. He also indicated that a film with director S. S. Rajamouli could be an exception to this approach.
Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are set to appear together in Ranabali, a period action drama directed by Rahul Sankrityan of Taxiwaala fame. The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers and T-Series as a pan-India project. It is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 16, coinciding with the Dasara festive season. The trailer and music by Ajay–Atul have reportedly generated considerable interest among fans, with audiences keen to see how the film performs at the box office.
