What Is Suriya’s Viswanath & Sons’ Total Worldwide Target?

Suriya’s upcoming family entertainer Viswanath & Sons, starring Mamitha Baiju as the female lead, is directed by Venky Atluri. The film is set to release grandly in Tamil and Telugu and the makers are confident that it will become another successful outing in Suriya’s career. The movie has already generated interest among audiences ahead of its theatrical release.

According to reports from trade circles, Viswanath & Sons is arriving with a significant theatrical target worldwide. The film is said to have a theatrical business target of more than ₹60 crore from the Telugu states and Tamil Nadu combined, while the remaining markets are expected to contribute another ₹30 crore. This puts the overall target at around ₹90 crore. Trade analysts suggest that the film may need to achieve close to ₹200 crore in worldwide gross to comfortably cross the required breakeven mark. It remains to be seen whether Viswanath & Sons can meet these expectations. G.V. Prakash Kumar has composed the music, while Sithara Entertainments is backing the project.
