Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata’ Set for Digital Premiere

ZEE5 Hindi is bringing Bharat Bhagya Vidhata to audiences with a special digital premiere on August 14, 2026. Written and directed by Manoj Tapadia, the thriller-drama is inspired by the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks and focuses on the lesser-known heroes who displayed extraordinary courage during the crisis. The film stars Kangana Ranaut, Girija Oak and Smita Tambe and is produced by PEN Studios, Manikarnika Films, Paramhans Creations, Unoya Films LLP and Floating Rocks Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.

Set against the backdrop of Cama and Albless Hospital, the story follows nurses, ward boys, cleaners, security personnel and other hospital workers who put the lives of patients ahead of their own safety when terrorists entered the premises. Rather than focusing only on the larger events of 26/11, the film seeks to highlight the courage, compassion, duty and selflessness of ordinary people who became extraordinary heroes during one of the darkest chapters in India’s history. The makers believe its Independence Day premiere will reinforce the film’s message of resilience and human spirit.
