OTT Releases This Week: Lenin, Uyir Lead the Lineup

The first week of August brings an exciting mix of movies and web series to OTT platforms. Akhil Akkineni's blockbuster Lenin makes its digital debut on ZEE5 from August 7 after becoming the actor's first ₹100-crore grosser. JioHotstar will stream Malayalam thriller Uyir, psychological drama The Shards, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, and Hustle Season 5, while Prime Video expands its catalogue with Sterling Point and Vadhandhi Season 2.

Netflix also has a packed schedule led by the military drama Operation Safed Sagar, based on the Indian Air Force's 1999 Kargil mission. Other highlights include Main Wapas Aaunga, Idhayam Murali, and several international series and documentaries. Meanwhile, theatres are set for fresh releases, including Varun Tej's Korean Kanakaraju and R. Madhavan's GDN, giving audiences plenty of entertainment options throughout the week.
