Global star Ram Charan’s sports drama ‘Peddi’, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, emerged as a blockbuster at the box office after its theatrical release on June 4. The film received an overwhelming response from both critics and audiences, collecting over ₹400 crore worldwide. Following its successful theatrical run, the much-awaited film is now gearing up for its digital premiere, with Netflix acquiring its streaming rights.
According to the latest reports, ‘Peddi’ will begin streaming on Netflix from July 2 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. However, the Hindi version is expected to premiere only after July 30 due to Bollywood’s theatrical-to-OTT release window policy. Starring Janhvi Kapoor alongside Ram Charan, the film also features Shivrajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Boman Irani, and Divyendu Sharma in key roles. Produced by Vriddhi Cinemas with music composed by Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman, the film is expected to recreate its theatrical success on the OTT platform.
