Arvind Slams Revanth Over His Remarks

Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Arvind has criticised Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy over his remarks about engineering students, alleging that such comments undermine the confidence and future of the state's youth. Speaking to the media at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi on Wednesday, Arvind said it was unfortunate to suggest that engineering students could not even fill out a basic application form. He also criticised the Chief Minister for making remarks that, according to him, belittled students.

Arvind further questioned whether Revanth Reddy, who also holds the Education portfolio, had visited government schools lacking basic facilities such as blackboards and toilets. He argued that the government should first improve infrastructure in existing schools before announcing new institutions. Referring to past political developments, Arvind claimed that similar remarks about students had cost previous governments public support and warned that the Congress could face a similar outcome.
