Bandi Sanjay Launches Sharp Attack on Congress and BRS

Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar, speaking during the Bonalu celebrations in Hyderabad, launched a sharp attack on the Congress and BRS, alleging that both parties follow minority appeasement policies and are afraid of raising issues related to Hindu society. He questioned the state government over the funds and basic facilities provided for Bonalu celebrations and compared the allocations for Bonalu with those for other festivals. He also alleged that the government had failed to fulfil several promises, including employment generation, unemployment assistance, fee reimbursement and increased pensions.

Bandi Sanjay also raised questions about the inclusion of Telangana armed struggle history in school textbooks and criticised the Congress over its alleged stance on historical figures and the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He said the BJP would continue to raise issues concerning Hindu society and Sanatana Dharma. On employment, he cited the large turnout for a limited number of HYDRA posts as an indication of unemployment in the state and questioned the Congress government over its promise to fill two lakh jobs annually. He also alleged that poor students were facing difficulties due to delays in fee reimbursement and demanded clarity on welfare scheme promises.
