The sixth edition of The Hindu Huddle was inaugurated in Bengaluru, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, intellectuals, and experts from diverse fields to discuss issues shaping the nation. Addressing the gathering, the speaker praised the media's role in informing society and guiding public discourse, emphasizing that meaningful conversations help identify solutions that better serve people and strengthen democratic values.
Highlighting the importance of dialogue and collaboration, the speaker noted that democracy becomes stronger when its four pillars—the legislature, executive, judiciary, and media—function with mutual respect and a shared sense of responsibility. Referring to Bengaluru as a symbol of innovation, openness, and aspiration, the speaker said the city continues to reflect Karnataka’s progressive spirit. Such platforms, he added, play a vital role in connecting governance with public experience and fostering collective progress.
