BRS Demands Apology from CM Revanth Reddy

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) launched a sharp attack on Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, alleging that his remarks about engineering students and teachers were insulting and unacceptable. The party demanded that the Chief Minister immediately apologise for allegedly referring to engineering students in a derogatory manner and criticised his comments made in the presence of school children. BRS leaders stated that such remarks not only demean engineering graduates but also undermine the teaching community that educated them.

The party further accused the Congress government of failing to fulfil key election promises, including the implementation of the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) and the promised Pay Revision Commission (PRC). BRS also alleged that ACB and CID cases were being used to suppress those questioning the government. Highlighting issues such as the lack of basic facilities in government schools and pending salaries for sanitation workers, the party claimed the Education Department had failed under the current administration. It asserted that BRS would continue to fight for employees' rights, including OPS and Dearness Allowance (DA), both inside and outside the Assembly.
