Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha said the coalition government is giving top priority to development and public welfare across the state. Along with Minister BC Janardhan Reddy, she laid the foundation stone for two Fish Landing Centres at Boyapadu and Dondavaka coastal areas in Nakkapalli Mandal of Payakaraopeta constituency. She stated that nearly ₹600 crore has been invested in the constituency's development over the past two years, with special emphasis on strengthening infrastructure and improving public services.
The Home Minister said the government is committed to the welfare of fishermen and noted that two of the three proposed Fish Landing Centres in the state have been sanctioned for Payakaraopeta, benefiting around 9,000 fishing families. She also announced plans to establish a BC Girls Welfare Hostel and a multi-speciality hospital in the constituency. Minister BC Janardhan Reddy said the government is accelerating development and welfare initiatives while alleging that the previous YSRCP government weakened institutions and obstructed development projects.
