A meeting between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump has been confirmed during the upcoming G7 Summit in France. The White House has officially announced that the two leaders will hold a key bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the summit scheduled to take place in Evian-les-Bains from June 15 to 17.
Prime Minister Modi will attend the summit as a partner country representative. The meeting gains significant importance amid the ongoing West Asia conflict. The two leaders last met in February last year during Modi’s visit to the United States, making this upcoming interaction highly anticipated in global diplomatic circles.
