BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has said that the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project has once again proved its importance despite what he described as Congress' misinformation campaign. In a post on X, KTR stated that reverse pumping through the Sriramsagar Flood Flow Canal is supplying irrigation water to nearly two lakh acres by lifting water from the Rampur and Rajeshwar Rao Peta pump houses. He asserted that farmers benefiting from the project know its true value regardless of political criticism.
In a separate post, KTR welcomed the successful delivery of India's first indigenous 350-kg thrust-class turbojet engine, calling it a landmark achievement by Hyderabad-based Azad Engineering in collaboration with DRDO. He said the milestone reflects Hyderabad's growing strength in aerospace and precision engineering and marks an important step towards India's self-reliance in defence technology under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
