KTR Takes Key Step in Formula E Race Case

BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) has filed a discharge petition in the Nampally ACB Court in connection with the Formula E car race case. Through the petition, he has sought the removal of his name from the chargesheet filed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). The court is scheduled to hear the discharge petition in November.

Meanwhile, the ACB has already filed a chargesheet in the case, naming KTR as Accused No. 1 (A1). The court has taken the chargesheet on record. KTR has appeared for questioning twice in connection with the case. The court's decision on his latest discharge petition is expected to be an important development in the ongoing legal proceedings.
