K. T. Rama Rao, Working President of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi, asserted that there were no power outages even for a moment during BRS governance. Speaking at an extensive party meeting in Malkajgiri, he said that the people of Hyderabad have lost trust in both Congress and BJP. He strongly criticized the current administration, stating that the “first half” of Congress rule has been a complete failure and has drawn widespread criticism from citizens.
KTR also targeted Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy over unfulfilled promises. He recalled assurances such as providing gold and financial support of ₹15,000 to farmers, along with guarantees to implement schemes within 100 days. Questioning the delay of nearly 900 days, he alleged that the promises remain unfulfilled and accused the leadership of responding harshly when questioned. His remarks have intensified the political debate in the state.
