Major Row Over SVIMS Recruitment

Former TTD Chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy has levelled serious allegations over the recruitment process at SVIMS in Tirupati. He claimed that the notification issued for filling 303 posts was modified to favour certain individuals, violating established recruitment norms. Alleging a lack of transparency in eligibility criteria, selection procedures, and question paper preparation, he described the recruitment process as "another DSC scam" and demanded that the notification be cancelled and a comprehensive inquiry be conducted.

Bhumana also alleged irregularities in recruitment and administrative practices within TTD and criticised the treatment of former Deputy Chief Minister Narayanaswamy, claiming he was denied protocol darshan. He further alleged that appointments and salary revisions were made without due approvals from the government and the TTD Board. The authorities are yet to issue an official response to these allegations.
