Telangana Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said that the long-standing problems of the combined Nalgonda district due to Musi river pollution will be resolved soon with the river rejuvenation project. Speaking at a public meeting during development works launched by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, he said pollution levels in the region will be significantly reduced. He also alleged that the previous BRS government and earlier Congress regime failed to allocate adequate funds for the district.
He further criticized former minister Harish Rao and the BRS party, accusing them of corruption allegations and renaming politics. Komatireddy expressed confidence that the Congress government is implementing welfare schemes such as rice distribution, Indiramma housing, and development projects across villages. He also claimed that Congress will win all 12 seats in the combined district in the upcoming elections.
