

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education and IT, Nara Lokesh, met West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari in Kolkata. During the meeting, Lokesh explained Andhra Pradesh’s “Speed of Doing Business” model, transparent welfare delivery mechanisms, and efforts to attract investments. He also highlighted the state's achievements in digital governance and real-time monitoring systems.
Lokesh emphasized the need to strengthen cultural and economic ties between Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal. He requested support for allocating land for a Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams temple in West Bengal and assured cooperation for the construction of a West Bengal Bhavan in Tirumala. The leaders also discussed opportunities for collaboration in fisheries, exports, and other sectors to drive mutual growth. The West Bengal Chief Minister reportedly responded positively to the proposals.
