Rahul Gandhi Urges PM Modi to Apologise to NEET Aspirants Over Exam Paper Leak

Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi has said that students who protested against the alleged NEET question paper leak are not seeking forgiveness from Prime Minister Narendra Modi but are demanding an apology. Addressing the Prime Minister, Rahul questioned whether he had truly understood the pain and frustration of the affected students.

In a post on X, Rahul wrote, “Prime Minister Modi should not be forgiving the students; instead, he should apologise to them.” On Saturday, Rahul visited Tamil Nadu, where he met the parents of students who allegedly died by suicide following the cancellation of the NEET examination. He also visited the family of a student in Mamallapuram, offering his condolences and words of support.

Speaking to the media, Rahul criticized the Prime Minister for not meeting the families of students affected by the alleged question paper leak and exam cancellation. He said the years of hard work put in by countless aspirants had been ruined overnight due to the controversy surrounding the examination. Rahul also alleged that the paper leak and cancellation had caused immense emotional distress, with several students reportedly taking the extreme step of ending their lives.
