Revanth Government Launches Probe into Dharani Land Records

The Telangana government has decided to conduct a detailed investigation into the Dharani land records system introduced during the previous BRS government. After replacing Dharani with the new Bhu Bharati Act, the Revanth Reddy government has now formed a Special Enquiry Team (SET) to examine alleged irregularities that took place during the implementation of the portal.

The investigation will focus on land record manipulations, illegal mutations, and alleged violations in transactions carried out through Dharani. Officials involved in the implementation process, including former senior officers, may also face notices if irregularities are found. The government aims to identify the affected lands, resolve ownership issues, and take action against those responsible for alleged land-related irregularities.
