Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Pawan Kalyan strongly condemned the misuse of sacred chants and devotional songs dedicated to Lord Venkateswara. He expressed concern over certain groups allegedly parodying holy “Govinda” chants for political purposes in Nellore, stating that such acts hurt the religious sentiments of devotees and undermine spiritual values.
He further stated that the actions of those involved reflect a deliberate attempt to provoke religious discord. Pawan Kalyan directed party leaders to take legal action against such activities. He urged everyone to respect divine names, mantras, and devotional traditions, emphasizing that sacred elements of faith should never be ridiculed or misused for any agenda.
