BJP leader and actress Khushbu Sundar has strongly condemned DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin over his alleged remarks targeting actress Trisha, calling them unacceptable and disrespectful towards women. Speaking to an English media outlet, Khushbu said no political leader has the right to publicly insult a woman and questioned the growing trend of using women as political targets. She asserted that leaders should prove their strength through politics rather than by making derogatory comments about women.
Khushbu further alleged that such remarks reflect a mindset that disrespects women and criticized the political culture of dragging women into controversies for personal or political gains. She expressed disappointment that Udhayanidhi, whom she expected to uphold dignity as a young leader, had resorted to such comments. Sharing her personal bond with Trisha, Khushbu said she has known the actress since before her film career and considers her a part of her family. She recalled that Trisha stayed at her home for four days during her daughter's wedding and actively helped with the family celebrations.
