TRS president Kalvakuntla Kavitha addressed a gate meeting at Kasipet Underground Mine-1 and raised several concerns regarding the welfare of Singareni workers. Speaking to the gathering, she alleged that Singareni was gradually moving toward privatization and accused the government of misleading workers without implementing meaningful policies or welfare measures. Kavitha criticized the lack of basic amenities, including drinking water facilities, and pointed out the shortage of doctors in Singareni hospitals despite their large infrastructure.
She announced that TRS and HMS would work together in the upcoming Singareni elections and reiterated the party’s commitment to workers' welfare. Kavitha stated that Telangana’s development had been achieved through the efforts of TRS and assured workers that free education and free healthcare would be provided to Singareni employees and their families if the party’s vision is implemented. She also criticized the state leadership, alleging that workers’ issues were being ignored.
