Vamsi Seeks CBI Probe into Gannavaram Contract

Former MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi has written to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, seeking a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the allocation of the Gannavaram Airport Integrated Terminal contract. Referring to allegations made by Gannavaram MLA Yarlagadda Venkatrao, Vamsi requested a comprehensive investigation into the contract awarded by the Airports Authority of India to the KMV company.

Vamsi said allegations that ₹206 crore was sanctioned for only 20 percent of the project work should be thoroughly investigated. He also asked investigators to examine claims linking him to the KMV company and establish the facts. He stated that if corruption is proven, strict action should be taken against those responsible, and if his own involvement is established, he is prepared to face any legal action.
