Wealth Data of Rajya Sabha Members Reveals Striking Figures

Interesting financial data has emerged regarding the members of the Rajya Sabha. The combined assets of all 226 Rajya Sabha members are valued at an impressive ₹26,047 crore. Based on these figures, the average asset value per Member of Parliament stands at ₹115.25 crore. The data highlights the significant presence of wealthy representatives in the Upper House of Parliament.

According to the available statistics, 31 Rajya Sabha MPs possess assets worth more than ₹100 crore each, accounting for nearly 14 percent of the House. Among these high-net-worth legislators, the largest representation comes from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with seven members, followed by the Indian National Congress with six members.
