Anirudh Selected for Telangana Senior Water Polo Team

L. Anirudh has been selected for the Telangana Senior Water Polo Team following the selection trials conducted during the 11th Telangana Senior Inter District Swimming Championship. The trials were held on May 24, 2026, at the GHMC Swimming Pool in Amberpet, Hyderabad.

Congratulating Anirudh on his achievement were Strokes Swimming School owner Cherukuri Bharat, Vinay, In charge Prasad, Strokes Head Coach and Manager Mukhtar Ahmed, and Gachibowli Aquatic Stadium swimming coach Tirupati. Anirudh will represent Telangana at the 79th Senior National Aquatic Championship (Water Polo), scheduled to be held from July 7 to July 12, 2026, at the Dr. T.K. Parivendar Aquatic Complex, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Chennai.
