The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced India's ODI squad for the upcoming tour of England, scheduled to begin on July 1. Team India will play five T20 Internationals and three One-Day Internationals during the tour, which is being viewed as an important step in preparations for the 2027 ICC ODI World Cup. The BCCI had earlier revealed the T20I squad and has now finalized the ODI lineup.

Young pacer Gurnoor Brar and fast bowler Prasidh Krishna have been included in the ODI squad, reflecting the selectors' focus on strengthening India's pace attack. Veteran batter Virat Kohli has also been named in the squad; however, the BCCI clarified that his participation in the final playing group will depend on his fitness status. The series is expected to provide valuable opportunities for players to establish themselves ahead of major international tournaments.
