The Indian men’s team took the lead in the 38th minute through a powerful penalty corner strike by Jugraj Singh, who also celebrated his 100th international appearance with the goal.
Despite strong control and solid defense, India failed to extend their lead, with missed opportunities in the final quarter. Germany staged a dramatic comeback in the last minutes, with Justus Weigand (56’) equalizing and Jakob Brilla (60’) scoring the winning goal from penalty corners, sealing a 2–1 victory for the world champions.
