Telugu cricketer Sri Charani has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing the No.1 position in the latest ICC Women’s T20 Bowling Rankings. The young spinner from Kadapa delivered an outstanding performance in the recent Women’s T20 World Cup, claiming 10 wickets in just three matches and emerging as one of the tournament’s standout performers.

With her exceptional bowling display, Sri Charani surpassed England spinner Linsey Smith to become the world’s top-ranked T20 bowler. Her achievement has been widely celebrated across Andhra Pradesh and the cricketing fraternity. Congratulating her on the historic feat, Minister Nara Lokesh stated that Andhra Pradesh is proud of her accomplishment and wished her continued success in breaking more records in the future.
