India posted a commanding 351/7 in 50 overs in the third ODI against West Indies at New Chandigarh, setting the visitors a target of 352 runs. KL Rahul was the star of the innings, smashing an unbeaten 129 off 87 balls to register a superb century. Rohit Sharma narrowly missed out on a hundred after scoring 92, while Ruturaj Gaikwad contributed a valuable 57. India had an early setback as captain Shubman Gill was dismissed for 1 and Virat Kohli fell for a duck, but Rohit and Gaikwad steadied the innings before Rahul accelerated in the latter stages.
Naman Dhir added a quick 30 in the middle order as India finished with a strong total. For West Indies, Jayden Seales was the leading wicket-taker with three wickets, while Keemo Paul claimed two and Gudakesh Motie took one. With 352 required for victory, West Indies now face a challenging chase against an Indian side that recovered strongly after losing early wickets.
