New Commonwealth Games Plan for Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, the host city of the 2030 Commonwealth Games, has finalised the list of sporting events for the competition. Commonwealth Games CEO Katie Sadleir announced that competitions will be held in 17 sports disciplines during the event. The organisers are currently holding discussions with the Indian Olympic Association and the government regarding the preparations.

Katie Sadleir also stated that the Ahmedabad Games will be conducted with a budget that is 60 percent lower than previous editions of the Commonwealth Games. The organisers aim to deliver a cost-effective and sustainable event while maintaining international standards. Preparations for the 2030 Games are expected to gather momentum in the coming months.
