Left-arm pacer T. Natarajan is set to return to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) after the franchise completed a player trade with Delhi Capitals ahead of IPL 2027. Under the deal, SRH will acquire Natarajan for a revised fee of ₹5 crore. Delhi Capitals had purchased the Tamil Nadu bowler for ₹10.75 crore at the IPL 2025 auction. Natarajan previously represented SRH for five seasons, from 2020 to 2024, and established himself as a dependable option with his left-arm pace and yorkers.
Natarajan enjoyed his most successful IPL season in 2024, claiming 19 wickets and playing a crucial role in SRH's journey to the final. Meanwhile, leg-spinner Zeeshan Ansari will move from SRH to Delhi Capitals as part of the same trade. Delhi will retain Ansari at his existing fee of ₹40 lakh. The move gives SRH an opportunity to reunite with a bowler who performed well for the franchise, while Delhi adds another spin option to its bowling attack ahead of the upcoming season.
