Tanvi Sharma Starts Korea Masters With Win

Rising Indian shuttler Tanvi Sharma, who recently won the Taipei Open title, made a winning start at the Korea Masters Super 300 badminton tournament. In the women’s singles first round held on Wednesday, third-seeded Tanvi defeated China’s Yuan An Qi 21-16, 21-15 to enter the next round.

Meanwhile, veteran Indian star Kidambi Srikanth suffered an early exit from the tournament. Srikanth was knocked out in the opening round, while Tanvi Sharma continues her impressive run with another strong performance.
