New WhatsApp Feature Set to Make Chatting Easier

WhatsApp is reportedly developing a new ‘Green Dot’ feature for Android users. The feature is designed to help users quickly identify which contacts are currently online. A green dot will appear on the profile photos of active users, making it easier to see who is available for conversation.

The update is also expected to display contacts who have recently opened the app in a dedicated list. However, users who have hidden their ‘Last Seen’ status will not appear in this section. The feature is currently in the testing phase and is expected to roll out to Android users in the near future.
