Case Filed Against Former BRS MLA Rega Kantha Rao of Pinapaka

A case has been registered at Punjagutta Police Station in Hyderabad against former Pinapaka MLA and BRS leader Rega Kantharao following a complaint filed by a woman. She alleged that he took money from her in the name of investments in a real estate business and later harassed her sexually after promising to marry her. She also accused him of recording videos without her consent.

Based on the complaint, police registered a case under Sections 69 and 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and started an investigation.
