The landscape of actor remuneration in Indian cinema continues to evolve, and according to industry reports, Ranveer Singh has achieved a remarkable milestone with Dhurandhar. Unlike conventional agreements, the actor reportedly chose a profit-sharing model instead of accepting an upfront remuneration. The two-part action drama emerged as a massive global success, reportedly grossing over ₹3,200 crore worldwide and collecting around ₹1,900 crore net in India.
Trade circles suggest that Ranveer Singh’s share from theatrical profits, digital streaming rights, satellite rights, music revenues, and performance bonuses has reached approximately ₹325 crore. The actor is also believed to have invested personal funds during the film’s production, increasing his stake in the project. If these figures are accurate, Ranveer has surpassed several top Indian stars in terms of earnings from a single project, setting a new benchmark for profit-sharing deals in the Indian film industry.
