Sharmila’s Warning on FCRA.. Here’s the Real Reason!

APCC Chief YS Sharmila strongly criticized the Narendra Modi-led government over the FCRA Bill. She alleged that the law is being used with double standards by giving advantages to organisations linked with the RSS while imposing strict restrictions on other NGOs. She called it an attempt to misuse legislation for controlling independent voices.

Sharmila said that a democracy cannot function when the government decides which organisations can work freely and which ones face regulatory pressure. She stated that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has made the party’s stand clear and assured that they will oppose measures that threaten freedom and democratic values.
