Telangana has introduced a new emergency response number, 112, replacing the existing Dial 100 service. From now on, citizens can use a single emergency number for multiple services, including police assistance, ambulance services, and fire emergencies.
The new Dial 112 emergency service was officially launched by Telangana DGP C.V. Anand. The initiative aims to provide faster and more coordinated emergency assistance to people across the state through one unified helpline number.
