Akhil Raj Opens Up About Crazy Kalyanam

The upcoming Telugu film Crazy Kalyanam, starring Dr. Naresh Vijaya Krishna, Anupama Parameswaran, Tarun Bhascker and Akhil Uddemari of Raj Weds Rambai fame, is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on October 16, coinciding with the Dasara festive season. Produced by passionate filmmaker Boosam Jagan Mohan Reddy under the Arrow Cinemas banner as Production No. 2, the film is directed by Badrappa Gajula. In a recent interview, young actor Akhil Raj shared details about his role and his experience working on the film.

Akhil said he always wants to be part of good stories and quality films rather than focus on the length of his role. He added that he gave his character the energy and performance it required. Recalling his experience with Anupama, he said his mother had once wished that he would act alongside her after becoming a hero, following his small role in Rowdy Boys. Akhil expressed happiness at fulfilling that wish and praised Anupama for helping him feel comfortable on set. He said they discussed their scenes before filming and approached their roles by thinking like the characters rather than merely as actors.
