

The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, approved more than 80 agenda items during its latest meeting, clearing several key proposals aimed at accelerating the state's economic growth. The Cabinet gave its approval to projects related to industries, information technology, tourism, capital city development, data centers, and renewable energy. It also endorsed decisions taken by the Investment Promotion Board, paving the way for investments worth nearly ₹34,000 crore that are expected to generate around 35,000 employment opportunities across the state.
The Cabinet also approved infrastructure development works worth ₹426 crore in Undavalli and sanctioned ₹139 crore for the construction of the Andhra Pradesh Judicial Academy. Several tourism projects in Amaravati, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Kurnool, and Annavaram received clearance, including incentives for five-star hotels and convention centers in Amaravati. Additionally, the retirement age of employees working in government corporations, public sector undertakings, and societies was increased from 60 to 62 years. The Cabinet also approved land allocations for solar and wind energy projects in Anantapur and Kadapa districts, incentives for biogas plants, and the creation of 95 temporary posts under the Amaravati Land Pooling Scheme.
